Deposit and details
Pay a 50% deposit, then send your logo, photos and details using our simple checklist. We’ll help you register your domain in your name.
First draft in about 7 days
You get a private preview link to check on your phone. Two rounds of changes are included.
Launch and handover
Pay the final 50% and we put your site live on your domain. You get a short handover guide showing what you own and how to update it.

Meet Edward (and Hugo)
Hugo Hosting is run by Edward, who is based in Melbourne and works online with small businesses across Australia. It’s a small, personal service on purpose: you deal with one person who builds your site, answers your emails and is still around after launch day.
Edward set it up to give small businesses a better option than a drag-and-drop builder or an expensive agency: a properly built, fast website at a fair, fixed price, which you actually own.
FAQ
Questions we often get
Do I really own my website?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your name and you pay for it. Once your site is built and paid for, the site and the words we wrote for you are yours.
How long does it take?
You’ll see a first draft about 7 days after we receive your details. Most sites go live within about two weeks of the deposit, depending on how quickly feedback comes back.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. We set up a free, simple online editor where you can change text, prices, hours and photos, and the site updates itself in a minute or two. If you’d rather not, our Care plans cover regular edits.
Do I need an ABN to get a .com.au?
Yes. A .com.au domain needs an Australian business connection, usually an ABN or a registered business name. We’ll walk you through registering it in your own name.
I already have a website. Can you help?
Yes. We can rebuild it on a faster, more modern setup, move your domain across without losing your email, and redirect old pages so you keep your Google rankings.
Will you write fake reviews or testimonials?
Never. We only show genuine reviews from your real customers. If you’re a registered health practitioner, AHPRA rules mean no testimonials at all, and we build your site to suit.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
There’s a simple, plain-English agreement for the build. Care plans are month to month with 30 days’ notice, and nothing stops you leaving with your site.
Do you charge GST?
Yes. All our prices include GST, so the price you see is the price you pay.
